Gymkuma is an active brand of fitness clothes and accessories, which originates in the Middle East. The brand is committed to young athletes and people who enjoy fitness through innovative, high quality, and stylish products. Gymkuma provides a variety of active wear and fitness products to men and women inspired by the spirit of the bear, which is a symbol of their strength and resilience.
The mission statement of the brand is to break the paradigm of eCommerce in the fitness industry by combining daring designs with high utility. All our products are designed to appear fantastic but provide a good performance that is dependable. Gymkuma will create confidence and ensure optimal performance by providing all its users, athletes, with every product they purchase.
Gymkuma is the company working in the rapidly developing fitness apparel and accessories market. This market is motivated by an international interest in health, well-being and physical activities. Gymkuma as a Middle Eastern brand wants to make an aggressive breakthrough in the competitive eCommerce world, through bold, high quality, and functional active wear for men and women.
When Gymkuma was about to enter the online platform with its brand, we were consulted as Full Stack Shopify Developers to create the official eCommerce site and construct it through the build-to-order. Part of our task was to determine and tailor a flexible theme of Shopify to fit the bold and performance focused brand identity of Gymkuma.
A Jordan based startup in the fitness apparel business, Gykmkuma wanted to open a eCommerce store of professional quality equal to the best brands of American sportswear. Although the brand already had the logo, branding and product portfolio prepared, there were various issues that needed to be overcome.
Gymkuma was in need of an affordable Shopify theme which could also provide high level of customization. The idea was to get a smooth and professional appearance as of the big brands such as Under Armour.
The store needed sophisticated capabilities like a Mega Menu, cart drawer and pre order system. Most of these features were not the default of the normal shopify themes.
Custom design features such as unique carousel and corresponding products section were also some of the items included in the brand vision.
